Job Summary/Basic Function:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Student Affairs, the Coordinator of Student Conduct & Restorative Practices will oversee the university’s student conduct and restorative practices initiatives, including the creation, implementation, and leadership of a new CARE Team. This position will contribute to developing a student-centered approach to discipline that emphasizes community-building, restorative practices, and student success. The role requires a commitment to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and supportive campus environment, ensuring that students have access to the tools and support needed to thrive both personally and academically.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer and enforce the university's student conduct code fairly, consistently, and transparently.
- Develop and implement restorative justice practices to address student misconduct and provide accountability and personal growth opportunities.
- Educate the campus community on student conduct policies and restorative practices, fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and community.
- Chair the CARE Team while collaborating with key campus partners to support students experiencing behavioral concerns or crises.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies, ensuring the university's timely, effective, and compassionate response to at-risk students.
- Conduct case management and follow-up for students referred to the CARE Team, providing necessary support and resources to students in need.
- Work closely with faculty, staff, and student organizations to promote a positive and inclusive campus culture and address issues of student misconduct and academic dishonesty.
- Promote initiatives that align with university values and support students’ social and academic development.
- Advise and support student organizations and leaders in developing a strong sense of community and personal responsibility.
- Provide leadership development opportunities, including workshops, training, and recognition programs that emphasize positive campus engagement and civic responsibility.
- Assess the effectiveness of student conduct policies and restorative practices through surveys, feedback, and other data-driven tools.
- Utilize data to continuously improve programs and services, ensuring their alignment with student needs and university goals.

QUALIFICAITONS & COMPETENCIES
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse student populations and collaborate with university stakeholders.
- Experience with crisis intervention and student support services.
- Proficiency with technology and student engagement platforms, including event management software and productivity tools.(e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in student conduct administration and restorative practices in a higher education setting.
- Knowledge of NABITA best practices, student conduct policies, restorative justice practices, and student development theory.
- Experience leading or participating in CARE Teams, threat assessment teams, or similar student support programs.

Work Hours:
M-F, 8am - 5pm / Nights & weekends as available
