Title: Adjunct Nursing/Health Instructor

Job Summary/Basic Function:
Lake Superior State University invites qualified applicants to join our pool of adjunct faculty to teach in our Nursing and Health course offerings, which may include labs or clinical instruction (master's-level qualifications required for teaching lectures). Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, an active nursing license in Michigan or Ontario, and relevant clinical and/or lab experience (for Nursing clinical and lab courses)
• Master’s degree in Nursing and an active nursing license in Michigan or Ontario (for Nursing lecture courses)
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (for general Health courses)
• Ability to teach undergraduate students through engaging, student-centered instruction
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive academic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing or a health-related field
• Previous teaching experience in higher education or clinical instruction
Physical Demands:
Instructors must be able to demonstrate, assess, and evaluate skills relevant to the course and student learning outcomes.
